Sustainability Awards

Marshalls won The British Precast Concrete Federation (BPCF) Annual Sustainability
Awards for Single Site Operations in 2004 and 2005.

In 2005 we won the BPCF Sustainability award for work on Water Recycling and Biodiversity at our Eaglescliffe site.

Health & Safety awards:

• The BPCF National Safety Award, 2000 and 2004
• RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards 2006 Gold award at the West Lane site
• BPCF Best Practice Awards for Health and Safety at several sites in 2005

Environmental awards:

• The Ramsbottom site received the Groundwork Bury Environmental for Energy, Water and Waste Management Award in 2005.
• In 2006 the Ramsbottom site were runners up in the Northwest Business Environment Awards for reducing water consumption by 2,350,000 litres per annum and reducing landfill by 7,000 tonnes per annum.

CSR awards

Marshalls has received the “Payroll Giving Gold Award” through more than 10% of our employees participating in payroll giving to charities.

Training awards

Our Brookfoot works won the Most Successful NVQ Training award for a Large Company and Best Skills for Intervention Award for a Large Company in the Yorkshire Productivity Awards.
